Lufthansa Technik has confirmed its role as a core development and supply partner for cabin systems on Embraer’s Praetor 500E and Praetor 600E.
The collaboration delivered the integrated IFE and CMS, Omni-Fi membrane speakers, and fully customised Embraer GUI, as well as the Praetor 600E’s optional 42in curved OLED Smart Window. Digital platform services are also being introduced to enhance operational efficiency and the overall cabin experience.
For the first time, Lufthansa Technik presents a 42in curved OLED touchscreen display, which serves as the base for Embraer’s industry-exclusive Smart Window technology. The Smart Window is integrated in the Praetor 600E sidewall as an optional feature.
As well as having fully integrated IFE and CMS, the screen has access to three external cameras, enabling it to function as a ‘window’ displaying exterior views. It also features Embraer’s new, fully custom graphical user interface (GUI), through which passengers can control the cabin environment – from lighting to air conditioning, connectivity and wireless charging.

Meanwhile Lufthansa Technik’s Omni-Fi speakers, which hold a Red Dot Design Award, are designed to offer a fully immersive sound experience for various installation positions. The speakers use exclusively licensed Ring-mode Converter/Transducer technology, which Lufthansa Technik said enables “an extremely sleek design that does not compromise on sound quality”, thanks to their “optimal omnidirectional dispersion”.
A digital ground portal has also been introduced, enabling over-the-air software updates, remote configuration and scalable features to evolve with customer needs.
The collaboration builds on earlier joint work between Embraer and Lufthansa Technik on the Phenom 100EX and Phenom 300E programmes. Beginning from the early concept and industrial design stages, the company’s collaborative approach proceeds through to system architecture, engineering and production readiness.

“This programme is a clear testament to Lufthansa Technik’s innovation strength and engineering expertise,” said Andrew Muirhead, VP of OEM and Special Engineering Services at Lufthansa Technik. “We are proud to be a core development and supply partner for the next generation of business aviation cabins on the Embraer Praetor 500E and Praetor 600E. This milestone marks a significant expansion of our long-standing partnership between Embraer and Lufthansa Technik and sets a new standard for digital, design-led, and future-ready business jet cabins.”
“Our approach to the Praetor 500E and Praetor 600E cabin begins with listening carefully to our customers and understanding how they use the aircraft in their operations,” said Alvadi Serpa Jr, VP of market and product strategy at Embraer Executive Jets. “Working closely with Lufthansa Technik, we were able to push cabin technology forward and translate those insights into an integrated, intuitive Embraer-designed experience–where advanced systems, digital services, and cabin controls come together seamlessly to elevate productivity and comfort in flight.”
