Embraer has unveiled the Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E, the first evolution of the Praetor family since its introduction in 2018. Both aircraft have fully reimagined cabins, including new seating and CMS. A 42in 4K OLED touchscreen ‘Smart Window’ is available as an option on the Praetor 600E.
The Smart Window is an optional feature exclusive to the Praetor 600E and is integrated in the second cabin zone. It supports video conferencing, high-resolution video streaming, and real-time external views via three externally mounted cameras. The cabin can be configured with a divan positioned opposite the Smart Window to optimise its use for meetings, movies, video games and more.
Both aircraft feature a new CMS and enhanced IFE and lighting. The new CMS is designed for more intuitive control of the cabin environment, with multiple interfaces, including a new app experience, for controlling temperature, airflow, lighting, video playback and audio. Optional enhancements include voice command integration, Bluetooth audio, wireless charging and RGB mood lighting.

New Smart Switch panels provide individualised seat controls. The upper valance has been re-engineered and includes revised upper tech panels and an ambient air system. Ka-band connectivity is offered on both aircraft.
The seating has been redesigned and manufactured by Embraer, focused on extended comfort for longer flight missions. Features include configurable cushion firmness, dual lumbar support, a forward-tracking headrest, increased legroom, and electric-assist release for smoother seat movements. There is a new dedicated lounge position, and a revised berthing process intended to provide faster conversion for rest.

On the Praetor 600E, the galley has been redesigned to enable more meals to be served on extended missions, with increased storage, disposal and ice drawer capacity. The Praetor 500E features corresponding changes to its refreshment centre.

The Embraer DNA Design interior features a 6ft-tall, flat-floor cabin; stone flooring; and a vacuum service lavatory. Both aircraft retain their baggage compartment, alongside a full vanity in the rear private lavatory, and offer a 5,800ft cabin altitude. The Praetor 600E also offers a wardrobe or optional seat and crew lavatory.

Avionics on both aircraft include full fly-by-wire with active turbulence reduction and Embraer’s Enhanced Vision System (E2VS). Both jets now also incorporate Embraer’s Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS).
The super-midsize Praetor 600E is powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E engines and has an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441km) with four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves. The midsize Praetor 500E has a transcontinental range of 3,340 nautical miles (6,186km) under the same conditions.
Deliveries for new orders are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2029.
