On 18 September, Embraer announced the delivery of the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet, the fleet launch customer for the super-midsize jet. The delivered aircraft features Embraer’s Smart Window, a 42in 4K OLED touchscreen that enables video conferencing, high-resolution content streaming and real-time external views through three externally mounted cameras.
The Praetor 600E was unveiled alongside the Praetor 500E in February 2026 and received triple certification from Brazil’s ANAC, the US FAA and EASA in April 2026; the Praetor 500E was certified in June 2026.

The Praetor 600E introduces a reimagined cabin with all-new Embraer-designed seating, an advanced CMS and technologies aimed at elevating comfort, productivity and connectivity. Paired with an optional divan configuration, the optional Smart Window creates a space for work and entertainment. The aircraft also features an enhanced galley. The Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E cabins were featured in the July 2026 edition of Business Jet Interiors International.
The Praetor 600E has an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441km) carrying four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves.

The aircraft’s avionics suite includes full fly-by-wire technology with active turbulence reduction, the Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS) and the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS), intended to support smoother flights, reduce pilot workload, and improve situational awareness and operational flexibility.
Embraer and Flexjet’s relationship dates back to 2003. Flexjet was named fleet launch customer for the original Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 in 2019. In February 2025 the companies announced an agreement valued at up to US$7bn, covering a firm order for 182 aircraft and options for a further 30, alongside an enhanced services and support agreement. The delivery of the first Praetor 600E marks the latest milestone under that agreement. Flexjet’s first Praetor 500E delivery, when it will also become fleet launch customer for that aircraft, is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

“We are proud to once again deliver the inaugural Praetor 600E aircraft to Flexjet, a trusted strategic partner for more than 20 years and a company that shares Embraer’s commitment to efficiency, innovation and exceptional customer experience,” said Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “This milestone reflects the strength of our longstanding relationship, the winning combination of next-generation features on board the Praetor 600E, and Flexjet’s continued confidence in Embraer’s ability to deliver industry-leading aircraft that meet the evolving needs of its bespoke customers.”
“This milestone delivery continues a success story we have had with Embraer Executive Jets that began back in 2003,” said Michael Silvestro, Flexjet’s CEO. “As the leader in luxury private aviation, fractional aircraft owners look to Flexjet to provide access to the world’s most advanced aircraft. Embraer’s unwavering commitment to innovation, exemplified by the Praetor 600E, continues to deliver the breakthroughs that enable us not only to meet those expectations, but exceed them.”
