Embraer’s Phenom 300EV has received certification from Brazil’s civil aviation authority (ANAC – Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The manufacturer noted that the light jet is the first in its category certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland, which can carry out a fully automated landing if the pilot becomes incapacitated. To operate these electronically controlled functions, including autobrake and rudder-by-wire, Embraer developed the Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller (MEC), which it says contributes to “enhanced handling, reduced workload and simplified maintenance”.
Cabin updates on the Phenom 300EV include a linefit high-speed global connectivity system powered by Gogo Galileo’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network. Starlink connectivity will also be available as an aftermarket option via an STC.

Range has increased to 2,055 nautical miles (3,806km) carrying four passengers with NBAA IFR reserves, enabling non-stop routes such as Aspen to New York, Dubai to the Maldives, and São Paulo to Manaus. Payload capacity has also increased.
The Phenom 300EV was introduced in July and is now certified for operation in the markets covered by ANAC, the FAA and EASA.

Deliveries of the Phenom 300EV are expected to begin in 2028.
