Take a video tour of a Dassault Falcon 2000EX cabin fully refurbished earlier this year by Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, Nebraska. A key aim was to match the look and feel of the customer’s newest Falcon 2000LXS.
The project included a complete re-veneer of all cabinets using heavily figured walnut with a lighter tone, and the replacement of carpet with a 100% wool version. There is woven vinyl flooring in the galley and matching carpet in the lavatory.
Seating was refreshed with a more modern colour palette, new lunel accent lighting was added in the PSU panels, and modern rectangular latches with satin antique nickel plating were installed throughout the cabin.
The Dassault LXS wave-inspired backsplash was added to the upper sidewall at the drinkrail. The lower sidewalls were redesigned with vertical seams and trim to mimic the LXS aircraft, with dark Corian countertops throughout.
Avionics upgrades include a new Collins Venue CMS, LED lighting, USB charging ports, and Gogo Galileo connectivity. Duncan Aviation also installed Gogo MB13 antennas in preparation for future Gogo LX5 capability. The flight deck pedestal was finished in carbon fibre Ultraleather, and the AirCell handset was replaced.
