A new electrical engineer has been appointed by Alto Aviation. Eugenio Penate (pictured left) joins an engineering and research and development team led by Steve Scarlata, vice president of engineering and research and development. Penate will be located at Alto’s facility in Jupiter, Florida, USA.

Penate comes to Alto Aviation with extensive international experience in: embedded systems design and RTOS with ARM processors; firmware programming; PCB design, manufacture and assembly; analog, digital and mixed signal PCB layout techniques using Altium Designer; RF and microwave PCB layout techniques using ADS Momentum; PCB manufacturing using chemical and CNC milling lines; and iOS programming.

“Penate brings a wealth of experience in digital signal processing, and a deep intuitive knowledge of the design of electronic circuits, robotics, microcontroller architecture and avionics that will be a great asset to Alto’s research and development team,” said Scarlata.
