AMAC Aerospace Group recently announced it has acquired Kreative Engineering Services (KES), an engineering company based in the south of France. The transaction was completed on 16 May.
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in L’Isle-Jourdain (Gers), KES specialises in the design and modification of VIP and commercial aircraft interiors – offering bespoke solutions designed to transform aviation spaces into luxurious environments.
In the realm of cabin design and modification, KES has expertise in layout planning (LOPA); mechanical, electrical, water, ECS and O2 systems; seats; furnishings; structural modifications; and galleys.
In providing its engineering services, KES utilises CAD software for 3D/2D design and prototyping, supported by FEM software for stress analysis and certification.
The company also offers certification and compliance services; it is EN 9100:2018 certified, ensuring adherence to aerospace quality management standards and supporting EASA/FAA certification processes.
KES also provides product development and industrialisation services, with ongoing investment in R&D to develop tailored furnishings and mechanical systems, combined with expertise in industrial process optimisation.
AMAC said that the integration of KES into its operations expands AMAC’s engineering presence, capabilities, and “reinforces its position as a leading provider of customised solutions in the global aerospace industry”.
AMAC continued that KES’s technical expertise, combined with its dedication to quality and customisation, makes it a preferred partner for projects requiring bespoke and advanced technological solutions. It becomes an integral part of the AMAC Aerospace Group of Companies.
Noting that the acquisition strengthens its presence in southwest France, AMAC noted that the region is “renowned for its robust aviation sector and deep roots of technical know-how”.
