Greenpoint Technologies has received a GACA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). This certification follows a review and on-site audit of Greenpoint’s modification facility in Moses Lake, Washington. The audit concluded with zero findings.
GACAR Part 145 establishes the regulatory requirements and safety standards necessary for the certification and operation of approved repair stations performing aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance and alterations. Greenpoint says that the successful completion of the certification audit demonstrates its operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
“We are delighted to achieve this important milestone with GACA,” said Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies. “Regulatory approvals are an important way to support our clients and their aircraft. This achievement reflects the preparation and coordination across our teams and strengthens our ability to support clients with maintenance services in accordance with the requirements of the applicable authorities.”
The GACA certificate adds to Greenpoint’s existing regulatory approvals, which include European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 and US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 repair station approvals, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Bilateral Maintenance Acceptance based on FAA Part 145, Department of Civil Aviation Aruba Certificate of Acceptance based on EASA Part 145, and approval from the United Arab Emirates’ General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) under CAR 145. Greenpoint also holds FAA Part 21 manufacturing-related approvals.
