AMAC Aerospace has completed maintenance, modifications and refurbishment on an Airbus A340 head-of-state aircraft at its facility in Basel, Switzerland.
The aircraft underwent a four-year check during which engines were removed and sent for shop repairs before reinstallation. The maintenance team repaired structural corrosion on the aircraft and installed Starlink connectivity.
Interior modifications included the refurbishment of the dining area, involving seat refurbishment and the replacement of carpet.
The company also recently announced the redelivery of a Boeing 737 to a long-term customer in late November 2025 following completion of C1 and C2 checks, interior modifications and refurbishment. The work included bulkhead refurbishment and non-textile flooring (NTF) replacement.
