A purpose-designed interiors facility has opened at Bombardier’s service center in Tucson, Arizona. As well as housing the site’s interior design talent in one place, the new climate-controlled facility triples the cabinet workshop footprint from 1,092ft² to 4,800ft², and complements existing areas for the fabrication of upholstery.

“We are thrilled to expand our interior facility and capacity in Tucson, offering Bombardier business aircraft operators greater selection and convenience, all backed by our unparalleled OEM know-how,” said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, vice president and general manager, customer experience, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

The Tucson site is the biggest of Bombardier’s nine aircraft service centers, and has been in operation for more than 40 years. It serves the commercial and business aircraft sectors, with more than 900 engineers, technicians and staff.
