The air-conditioning pack for the Dassault Falcon 6X will be among the business jet solutions to be displayed by Liebherr-Aerospace at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). The show takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on 20-22 October 2026.
Liebherr’s air management systems regulate air supply, temperature, humidity and pressure, and comprise bleed air and air-conditioning components, cabin pressurisation, air distribution, ice protection and supplemental cooling.
The company also highlighted its volatile organic compound and ozone converter (VOZC) technology, designed to remove ozone and other airborne contaminants from cabin air. Liebherr said the system is already in operation and was designed to meet the high comfort expectations of business jet passengers and crew.
Modular electromechanical actuators (EMAs) will be another focus at the show. Liebherr has developed EMAs for medium- to large-sized commercial aircraft and has expanded its portfolio to include smaller actuators. The new EMA family concept is designed for the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector and is also suitable for smaller aircraft, business jets and helicopters. Liebherr said the concept draws on millions of flight hours of experience across numerous aircraft programmes involving actuators and associated electronics. According to the company, the approach allows the design to scale to small installation spaces, gives a favourable power-to-weight ratio and offers high reliability.
The nose landing gear for the Embraer Legacy 650 will also be displayed. Liebherr develops, manufactures and services complete landing gear systems. These include landing gear structures, extension/retraction and steering actuation, position and warning systems, wheels, brakes, sensors and cockpit controls.
In the USA, Liebherr’s customer service organisation is Liebherr Aerospace Saline, based in Saline, Michigan. It provides repair services, technical support and spares distribution, and runs a liaison office in Seattle, Washington. Liebherr-Aerospace also has a service facility in Laval, near Montreal, Canada, which offers technical, logistics and engineering support.
“We are very happy to present our products and capabilities for the aerospace industry,” said Alex Vlielander, chief customer officer at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation. “Future business jet platforms will benefit from our expertise with regard to aircraft electrification, weight reduction and solutions for small installation space requirements. We are looking forward to networking with different stakeholders and discussing how we can meet the current challenges and trends.”
