Stahl and Maritime Aerospace collaborate for interior products

Surface treatment and coating solutions expert Stahl has teamed up with aircraft interior specialist Maritime Aerospace to provide interior trim materials and solutions for aircraft, under the AeroVisto brand.

“In the next 5-10 years, new disruptive technologies will fundamentally change the automotive industry,” said Stefan Buri, global marketing director mobility at Stahl. “That is why we increasingly see premium OEMs seek brand differentiation by providing superior passenger experience in interiors. With boundaries between mobility segments blurring, we see an opportunity to leverage our automotive core capabilities and actively drive the seamless integration of brand experiences across the different mobility modes.”

The venture will begin by introducing a range of leather products designed to boost customer experience and reduce operating costs while offering an environmentally conscious solution. The move will see the launch of Stahl Stay Clean lifetime+ products into the aviation sector.

“As a Swiss aircraft interior refurbishing company, we stand for quality, premium products and innovation,” said Hermann Bauer, managing director at Maritime Aerospace. “Winning Stahl as our technology partner means we will gain access to best-in-class surface technology and innovation leadership in interior trim solutions in automotive and other mobility segments. With AeroVisto, we are confident that we can create and offer a compelling new choice for customers. We are excited about the possibilities Stahl is bringing to the table and we are convinced this will enable us to always be one step ahead in our marketplace.”
