Primadonna – which supplies bespoke bedding, soft goods and luxury interior solutions for private and business aircraft – has opened a new production facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, in the shadows of Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The strategic expansion places the company in closer proximity to its East Coast clientele and within one of the USA’s busiest private aviation hubs.

The facility will house Primadonna’s design studio, manufacturing operations, and client experience centre, which the company said would enable it to better serve growing demand for custom aircraft interior solutions along the Eastern Seaboard.

The expanded space is intended to enhance Primadonna’s capabilities to create luxurious aircraft interiors, from custom sleep solutions and high-end upholstery to drawer inserts for fine china and the company’s proprietary Cloudstone surfaces.

“West Palm Beach represents the perfect strategic location for our expansion,” said Seth Newman, CEO of Primadonna. “This investment reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our clients with unparalleled service and craftsmanship. By establishing a presence in this key market, we’re positioning Primadonna to build stronger relationships with our East Coast clientele while continuing to elevate the standards of luxury aircraft interiors.”

“The timing of this expansion couldn’t be better,” said Nicole Atkins, Primadonna’s VP of business operations. “With business aviation traffic at PBI projected to grow by an additional 8-10% in 2025 according to the National Business Aviation Association, and with over 200 private aircraft based in South Florida, our new facility ensures we can deliver the personalised service and rapid turnaround times our clients expect.”

The West Palm Beach facility enables Primadonna to undertake full-scale custom production of aircraft interior products including sleep solutions and interior products, as well as the fabrication of bespoke drawer inserts for china, crystal and flatware. The facility will be used for private design sessions with Primadonna’s interior specialists, with an extensive collection of fabrics, leathers and finishes on hand. The company will also be able to offer in-aircraft product showcases at PBI upon client request; and educational sessions for flight crews on product care and maintenance.

Primadonna said the move enables expedited fulfilment for East Coast flight departments and operators, and the location within Florida’s aerospace industry enables access to more than 100,000 skilled workers, as well as proximity to more than 50 flight departments and aviation management companies within a 50-mile radius.

The company continued that the new facility features advanced manufacturing equipment, specialised workstations for hand-crafted details, and sustainable production practices.

“Every aspect of this facility has been designed with our clients’ needs in mind,” said Newman. “From concept to completion, we now have enhanced capabilities to transform aircraft cabins into elevated, personalised environments that reflect the unique preferences of each client.”

Primadonna will continue to operate its existing facility in Tucson, Arizona, while ramping up production at the West Palm Beach location over the coming months.
