Edelman expands its range of white leathers

Responding to customer demand, Edelman has developed more shades of white in various textures and qualities – making additions to its Royal Hide, Dream Cow, Shagreen, Scotch Grain and Whole Grain ranges.

The addition to Whole Grain is the new Mythic White. Other new shades include Paper White, which the company says is “as pure as we can make it without it turning blue”; and Porcelain, which Edelman describes as having “a certain clarity and purity” with slightly pink tones.

Meanwhile, Glacier is inspired by a cold zinc white, originally used by artists at the beginning of the 20th century. Edelman says the cool shade is very effective in the shade and has hints of gray.

Finally, Chalk features a hint of umber-mixed with matte white. The umber lends a hint of yellow. The shade is inspired by the pure chalks found in the mines and cliffs of Champagne, France, or deposits in Crete, Greece.
