Greenpoint Technologies has announced that it has signed a contract for a BBJ 787-9 VVIP interior completion with a confidential client.
Greenpoint will outfit the BBJ 787-9 with a VVIP interior customised to the client’s design vision and operational requirements. The interior incorporates advanced acoustics, connectivity, and weight optimisation, along with cabin environment enhancements and dual showers to support passenger comfort on long-range missions. The aircraft is scheduled to arrive at Greenpoint’s Moses Lake, WA modification facility next year.
“It is an honour to be selected for this BBJ 787-9 interior completion,” said Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies. “Our clients rely on us to translate their vision into a practical, certifiable solution while maintaining schedule and quality. Our BBJ 787 experience, combined with our integrated approach, enables us to deliver these complex programmes with confidence and consistency.”
Greenpoint has extensive experience across Boeing commercial platforms, including numerous BBJ 787 interior completions, modifications, and maintenance events. The company combines design, engineering, certification, manufacturing, installation, and entry-into-service support within a single accountable structure, which it says supports efficient execution and consistent, reliable programme outcomes.
