Spirit Aeronautics has retrofitted Bongiovi Aviation’s speakerless audio system on a Dassault Falcon 7X. The new audio technology is designed to provide a fully immersive audio experience throughout the cabin. Instead of speakers, transducers are attached to the back of interior panels, creating an uncluttered look and minimising the footprint of the audio system.
As well as upgrades to the audio and IFE systems, the retrofit included work on a satellite communications system, window shades, wi-fi router and new video monitors. All airworthiness certification services were provided and the ground and flight test plans were completed without any discrepancies.
