Honda Aircraft Company has delivered its first HondaJet Elite II in Brazil, following type validation by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Sold through Lider Aviação, the aircraft offers a 1,547nm range and autothrottle automation. It will be on static display at LABACE 2026 in São Paulo.

Honda Aircraft Company has delivered the first HondaJet Elite II in Brazil, following type validation of the aircraft by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).

The validation confirms the Elite II meets ANAC’s safety and performance standards and is approved for registration in Brazil. The aircraft will continue to be sold through Lider Aviação, the exclusive HondaJet authorised sales representative for Brazil.

The Elite II is the latest variant of the HondaJet, offering a maximum NBAA IFR range of 1,547 nautical miles along with increased fuel capacity, which Honda Aircraft says expands mission capability and enables more direct city-pair connections across South America.

The aircraft also introduces autothrottle, an automation feature designed to reduce pilot workload by automatically managing engine power to maintain a desired speed.

According to Amod Kelkar, senior vice-president and chief commercial officer at Honda Aircraft Company, “This delivery underscores Honda Aircraft Company’s commitment to building a global fleet presence while delivering meaningful value to customers worldwide.”

Kelkar added: “The enhanced features of the Elite II will enable customers in Brazil and across South America to travel farther, more efficiently, and with an elevated level of comfort.”

The Elite II will be on static display at LABACE 2026, running August 4-6 at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo.

Lider Aviação, headquartered in Belo Horizonte, operates 22 fixed base operations (FBOs) across Brazil. Including this latest delivery, the company has supported nine HondaJet deliveries in Brazil since 2017.
