Astronics Test Systems of Irvine, California, USA, has received a 2015 Top Workplaces honor from the Orange County Register. The Top Workplaces lists are based on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics.

“We are a great company, because of our talented people, who work hard to create optimal solutions for our customers,” said Jim Mulato, president of Astronics Test Systems. “It is gratifying that our employee survey results have earned Astronics this prestigious award for the second year in a row. I am honored to work with this fantastic team of dedicated professionals every day.”

In Orange County since 1961, Astronics Test Systems verifies the performance of electronics for the aerospace, military, semiconductor and medical industries. The company offers its employees, who number more than 275, flexible schedule options and standing invitations to participate in various interest groups, including cycling, bowling and golf.

“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest and, oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a top workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health, and who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there and the feeling that everyone is in it together.”
