This year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) – the first since the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) took over running the event – is now underway in Geneva, Switzerland. The EBAA, committed to a “transformative review” of the show, has announced a series of changes are under consideration, and further details will be announced at the end of June 2025.
The announcement, made at the EBACE25 Media Event, sets the stage for a reimagined show happening in the last week of May or the first week of June 2026, depending on final venue selection. The EBAA said its ambition is to align the show with the priorities and pace of Europe’s business aviation community.
Since taking over the running of EBACE in late 2024, the EBAA has undertaken a comprehensive consultation with stakeholders across the sector. Areas under review include the possibility of relocating the show from Geneva; rethinking the event format to better engage high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs); exploring new offerings for exhibitors; evaluating the future of the static aircraft display; considering partnerships with additional event organisers; and establishing a pricing model that “delivers value for both attendees and exhibitors”.
“Our goal is to reimagine EBACE with and for our stakeholders,” said Holger Krahmer, secretary general at the EBAA. “We are listening and actively reviewing every aspect of the show to ensure it evolves alongside our industry, and continues to offer real value. While changes take time, one thing remains clear to us: the industry needs EBACE and it remains the right place to meet the right people in business aviation.”
The EBAA added that EBACE25 serves as a vital part of the review process, providing direct feedback that will inform the event’s next chapter. The EBAA plans to share more on the future direction of EBACE during a press conference scheduled for Tuesday, 30 June. Subject to the final venue selection, EBACE26 is expected to take place either in the last week of May or the first week of June 2026.
