Greenpoint Technologies has obtained the first EASA STC for the BBJ 747-8 Aeroloft program. It is the first of four Aeroloft certifications the company is targeting for 2015.

The Aeroloft is a modular product developed specifically for the BBJ 747-8. It offers eight private sleeping berths located above the main deck in the aft section of the aircraft, with passengers using a forward entry staircase at door four to access it. Greenpoint has four installation certifications scheduled for 2015.

“Our close relationship with Boeing and other completion centers allows us to develop state-of-the-art solutions for our VIP customers by providing them with the best in luxury, utility and safety,” said Scott Goodey, CEO at Greenpoint.

“Our core business is designing and manufacturing unique interior solutions, and the Aeroloft is a perfect example of engineering and certification collaboration resulting from customer demand.”
