Vanema has delivered an Octaspring Jet mattress to a private aircraft customer. The tailor-made mattress is designed to provide a more comfortable sleeping experience and Vanema said it is 6kg lighter than traditional foam mattresses.

The solution uses patented Octaspring technology, which Natasa Cesko, CEO of Vanema, said “offers a fantastic level of comfort, weight savings, and complete customisation of every 10cm of the mattress”.

“Our team of experts has worked tirelessly to develop a product that not only exceeds industry standards but also provides the ultimate in comfort and luxury,” Cesko added.

The new Octaspring Lux mattress, which uses Vanema’s proprietary technology, is designed to offer great support and comfort to passengers on long-haul flights. Its unique construction is designed for better airflow, to reduce the risk of overheating and ensure more restful sleep.

In addition to the Octaspring Jet mattresses, Vanema also offers a range of foldable custom-fit mattresses that can convert any aircraft seat into a comfortable bed. The solutions are designed to be compact, lightweight and easy to store. All Vanema’s products are fully certified for the aviation industry, to meet the strict safety standards required for use in flight.
