Spirit Aeronautics will provide communication upgrades and interior modifications on a Gulfstream G550.

“In the modern world, communication is paramount and our customers need to stay connected utilizing different methodologies,” said Tony Bailey, president and COO at Spirit Aeronautics.

“This project combines advanced air-to-ground (ATG) and air-to-satellite technologies in addition to satellite television to ensure the client remains connected at all times and aware of current world events no matter where they are operating. It is an amazing suite of technology that is being further combined with interior upgrades to make it one of the most advanced G550s in the world.”

The project involves the installation of the Gogo ATG-4000 communication system, the Honeywell AIS-2000 satellite television system and the Honeywell HD-710 satcom system, which will be married up to the existing satellite-based broadband multilink system interfaced to an array of network peripherals. In addition, Spirit Aeronautics is installing the Satcom Direct Router, Gogo OnePhones and enhancing the interior to provide a more elegant and efficient working environment.
