Spirit Aeronautics promotes Charles ‘Mike’ Evans to lead technician

Spirit Aeronautics of Columbus, Ohio, USA, has promoted Charles ‘Mike’ Evans (pictured left) to be a lead technician in the company’s maintenance production department.

“Mike is one of those people who is smart with tons of heart,” said Tony Bailey, president and COO of Spirit Aeronautics. “Mike has demonstrated time and time again that he is committed to the triumph of Spirit Aeronautics and the success of our customers one visit at a time. We could not ask for someone to be more dedicated with a great attitude. It is truly our honor to have him leading our projects and teams alongside our other talented and devoted lead technicians.”

Evans is a long-term employee of Spirit Aeronautics. He joined right after serving in the US Marines in Iraq as an avionics technician on Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knights. He studied at Columbus State Community College and has an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license as well as the NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician certification.
