Textron Aviation has received Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 145 approval for its Australian maintenance organisation, covering its service centre network in Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast.
CASA Part 145 approval confirms that Textron Aviation’s Australian maintenance organisation has the systems, personnel, processes and oversight required to perform and certify aircraft maintenance to Australian aviation standards.
More than 1,400 Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft currently operate in Australia. The approval covers maintenance, modifications, overhaul services and aircraft-on-ground support across Textron Aviation’s three company-owned Australian service centres.
