New quality manager at West Star’s Perryville site

Tony Moorehead has been promoted to become quality manager at West Star Aviation’s facility in Perryville, Missouri.

Moorehead has more than 35 years of aviation experience, starting with the United States Marine Corps as well as serving in the Illinois Air National Guard as an F16 Crew Chief. He started at West Star in 2016 as a quality assurance inspector and has been at the Perryville location since 2018.

“Tony’s vast experience will benefit the West Star team while providing an elevated level of expertise to our valued customers,” said Darren Nash, director of quality assurance.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my career with West Star and appreciate the opportunity to work with the experienced team at Perryville,” said Tony Moorehead, quality manager (Perryville).

West Star Aviation specialises in the repair and maintenance of airframes, engines and APUs, avionics installations and repair, major modifications, interior refurbishment, exterior paint, accessory services and parts. The company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at two of its facilities, as well as AOG/MRT services nationwide.
