Jet Aviation’s facility in St Louis leads the industry in terms of Venue CMS installations, manufacturer Rockwell Collins announced at a special event. Rockwell Collins presented Jet Aviation’s MRO and completions facility in St Louis with a crystal award as a “superior performing authorized dealer” with more than 25 Venue installations so far, and also brought in food trucks to provide lunch for the entire workforce of more than 600 at the facility.
“We couldn’t be more proud of our record on Venue installations and of our long-standing relationship with Rockwell Collins that goes back more than 45 years,” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation St Louis.
Rockwell Collins officials also cited Jet Aviation St Louis’s development of an STC for installation of the manufacturer’s FANS on Challengers; the industry’s first installation of a FANS upgrade; and more than 35 FANS installations across all airframes, including 10 in Challengers.
Blake Hogge, senior manager of avionics sales at Jet Aviation St Louis, said his team worked closely with Rockwell Collins to develop the Venue system and the STC for FANS so both companies can better serve their aviation customers. His team is already working with Rockwell Collins to develop the next-generation Venue system.
