Greenpoint Technologies, a Safran company, has completed and delivered a VVIP BBJ 787-9 interior for an undisclosed client.
The company shared that the aircraft features multiple distinct living zones with custom-coved ceilings, enhanced acoustic engineering, and integrated IFE and communication systems. Interior monuments and assemblies were engineered and manufactured in-house to integrate with the aircraft’s systems architecture and certification requirements.
Additionally, the aircraft incorporates Greenpoint’s proprietary AeroSuite, a fully enclosed first-class suite. The AeroSuite design comprises a lie-flat bed, a separate reclining seat with sliding table and storage ottoman, an oversized monitor, and a full-height wardrobe within a dedicated private space. The AeroSuite supports customised finishes, integrated accent lighting, and tailored IFE and connectivity solutions, and is designed, engineered and built by Greenpoint.
The programme was executed through Greenpoint’s vertically integrated model, which combines interior design, engineering, manufacturing, mission integration, certification, programme management, and entry-into-service support within a single accountable programme structure. The company said this approach provides risk reduction, schedule certainty, configuration control and direct programme accountability throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
“We are honoured to deliver this extraordinary aircraft to our client,” said Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies. “Each completion strengthens our technical depth and reinforces the trust our private and government clients place in our Greenpoint team. The 787 is a highly sophisticated platform, and our team executes these programmes with technical precision, operational discipline, and uncompromising accountability.”
Greenpoint Technologies serves as a single-source partner for complex aircraft completion and modification programmes across the Boeing commercial fleet, including both widebody and narrowbody platforms, supporting VVIP, head-of-state and military clients.
