G650 base maintenance approval for HAITEC

HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance has been approved to perform Part 145 base maintenance on G650 aircraft, adding to the line maintenance approval it received for the aircraft type in June 2015. HAITEC also holds approvals from the civil aviation organizations of Russia, UAE, Azerbaijan and Bermuda – as well as from the FAA – for a range of Airbus, Boeing and Gulfstream aircraft.

Each approval is a milestone in HAITEC’s expansion strategy. The program, which involves an investment of more than €30m (US$34m), includes the establishment of HAITEC VIP Aircraft Maintenance in Erfurt, Germany, the acquisition of an existing hangar at Hahn Airport, Germany, and purchase of the surrounding property for the construction of a second maintenance facility. The new 17,000m² hangar is scheduled to be operational in the summer of 2016.

“Our steady growth also puts us in a privileged position to offer new employment opportunities to qualified international aviation professionals in Erfurt and Hahn,” said Frank Rott, CEO of HAITEC. “Starting in September 2016, we will offer EASA Part 147 approved type training in our new facilities and are already accepting applications.”
