IDAIR has delivered a bespoke CMS, IFE and connectivity solution for a head-of-state BBJ 787-8, which was completed at Associated Air Center (AAC) in Dallas, Texas. The enterprise was IDAIR’s first B787-8 delivery and first project with AAC.

The solution included AVOD, an interactive moving map, cockpit cameras and cabin controls via wireless devices for aspects including dynamic lighting scenarios, window shades, a wireless printer and more.

Passenger room controls include incremental window shade grouping and light controls. Cabin crew members can view the status of aspects including water levels for shower use, WAP status for crew tablet and printer use and passenger telephone systems. Maintenance personnel can view the system’s readiness and any anomalies, pinpointing remedies.

“We strive to include the latest aviation technologies in the completions we perform for our customers,” said James Colleary, president of AAC. “IDAIR’s solutions helped us achieve this vision.”
