ExecuJet Aviation Group has refurbished a Beechcraft King Air B200 for the South African Air Force (SAAF).

“The King Air B200 aircraft has been out of operational service for almost three years and has undergone extensive work by our expert refurbishment team,” said Ettore Poggi, vice president, Africa, ExecuJet Aviation Group. “This included the installation of a new digital Garmin 1000 avionics system, interior and exterior refurbishment, as well as a major maintenance inspection. Following extensive testing, we are delighted to hand the aircraft to the SAAF and look forward to working on the rest of the fleet.”

ExecuJet was awarded the contract to refurbish the entire SAAF King Air fleet in August 2014, with the first aircraft undergoing maintenance work in November 2014.
