A cross-functional organisation has been established within the Comlux Group – Comlux Tech – to offer à la carte aftersales services.
Comlux Tech’s services will cover four main areas. Technical Services covers avionics and cabin upgrades, line and base maintenance, and AOG recovery. Operational Services ranges from sourcing of fuel, ground handling and hangarage to sub-charter management, and warranty administration insurance handling. Consulting Services covers aspects from aircraft selection and appraisals to pre-purchase inspections and entry-into-service support. Finally, Crew Services includes sourcing and training flight crew, cabin crew and flight support engineers.
The launch of Comlux Tech is aligned with the latest key programmes in development within the group. These include the all-new ACJTwoTwenty, which will enter in service in early 2023 with Comlux Aviation and will be provided with technical support in service from the Comlux Tech organisation. There is also the launch of the construction of a new maintenance and refurbishment hangar at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, Dubai World Central (OMDW/DWC) airport, which will serve Comlux Tech customers in the Middle East from the end of 2023.
“With the launch of Comlux Tech, the group is now providing the complete luxury aviation service to our customers around the world,” said Richard Gaona, executive chairman and CEO of the Comlux Group. “Our goal is to develop further the synergies between Comlux Aviation operations, Comlux Transaction expertise and Comlux Completion know-how in VIP cabin engineering and craftsmanship, and to make available our experience to our ACJ and BBJ. I am supporting in full Andrea Zanetto, COO of Comlux, who shall implement and lead the Comlux Tech organisation within our group.”
