Several maintenance contracts for mid-size aircraft have been awarded to AMAC Aerospace’s headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. Five scheduled base maintenance packages will be performed by AMAC’s Gulfstream and Global Express team on the G450, GIV, GV and Global Express G5000. In addition, a G450 has undergone a registration change in Basel.

“We are glad that our Hangar 1, which is dedicated to maintenance on mid-size aircraft, is fully occupied,” said Rudi Kurz, director of maintenance at AMAC Aerospace. “This further proves that our facility in Basel is appreciated for our highly qualified technicians, for minimizing downtime and finding suitable solutions depending on budget and operational requirements by our esteemed clientele worldwide.”

AMAC Aerospace recently exhibited at the AIREX Airshow, held in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 6-9, 2016. AMAC has a 1,200m² hangar in Istanbul and construction on a 4,626m² hangar in Bodrum is underway, with completion scheduled for 2017.

“Our facility in Istanbul, which is operated by AMAC’s subsidiary, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, as well as our new hangar in Bodrum, are two strategically chosen locations in order to offer our high standards in maintenance services, AOG support, parts supply and parking to our esteemed clientele in the Eurasian and Middle Eastern markets,” said Kadri Muhiddin, group executive chairman and CEO at AMAC Aerospace.
