AMAC Aerospace has announced a series of aircraft maintenance projects carried out across its Basel (Switzerland) and Istanbul (Turkey) facilities in December 2025, involving Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ), Bombardier Global Express XRS, and Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft. Separately, the company confirmed the appointment of Sébastien Kubler as chief operating officer (COO) of JCB Aero.
ACJ projects in Basel
AMAC Aerospace carried out Starlink connectivity installations on two ACJ aircraft at its Basel facility in December. An ACJ330 operated by a head-of-state customer was fitted with Starlink and underwent A1 and A3 inspections. Starlink was also installed on a privately owned ACJ320, which also underwent 6-, 12-, and 24-month inspections. An A1 inspection was additionally performed on a separate privately owned ACJ330.
Bombardier Global Express XRS maintenance in Basel
Two Bombardier Global Express XRS aircraft were received at the Basel facility in mid-December. The first, belonging to a new customer, underwent a 750-flight-hour inspection and due maintenance. AMAC Aerospace’s in-house battery workshop also carried out a battery replacement on this aircraft.
The second aircraft, operated by a long-standing customer, arrived as a short-notice drop-in. AMAC’s Bombardier team repaired a pocket door in the cabin and the aircraft then resumed operation.

Dassault Falcon 2000 maintenance in Istanbul
AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s site in Istanbul inputted several Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft for out-of-phase maintenance in mid-December.
One of the aircraft underwent a 200-600-flight-hour routine inspection, as well as minor inspections of both engines and lubrication of the horizontal stabilizer hinge pins.
Another Falcon 2000 was fitted with a temporary rental actuator, due to a shortage of parts in the market. Later, a serviceable part was installed.
On a third aircraft, malfunctioning lights on the overhead panel were replaced.
Lastly, several out-of-phase tasks were performed on a Falcon 2000S’s flight controls, landing gear systems and engines. During the input, electronic charts were upgraded to the latest version and the fuel systems were decontaminated.
JCB Aero appoints chief operating officer
In other news, Sébastien Kubler has been appointed COO of JCB Aero, a part of the AMAC Aerospace Group based at Auch airport near Toulouse, France. A planned transition period in operational leadership at the company has been completed.
Kubler previously served as technical director of production and engineering at JCB Aero. Prior to that role, he founded Kreative Engineering Services (KES), a Part 21 organisation that has since been integrated into the AMAC Aerospace Group. He has also worked with AMAC Aerospace Switzerland. AMAC noted that Kubler’s background brings strong continuity across engineering, production and programme execution.
JCB Aero manufactures cabin interiors for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. It can carry out completion works utilising its DOA and POA (21G and 21J) approval status. JCB Aero was acquired by AMAC Aerospace in May 2016 and AMAC Aerospace has offered MRO capacity through the facility since October 2024.
