AMAC Aerospace has completed several maintenance and refurbishment projects on Bombardier aircraft at the start of 2026.
A Bombardier Global Express arrived at the hangars in Basel, Switzerland, on drop-in notice for due maintenance and an ultrasonic inspection of the engine’s low pressure (LP) compressor disc. The customer had also experienced noise in the cabin, which the AMAC Aerospace team rectified.
A Bombardier Global 5000 underwent a 15-month inspection including cabin interior work with replacement of the countertop. The windshield and the aircraft nose cone were also replaced, with the nose cone repainted in a colour matched to the fuselage.
A Bombardier Challenger 604 underwent 12- and 24-month inspections and a Challenger 605 underwent a 12-month inspection. Another Bombardier Challenger 605 came in for a 24-month inspection, as well as cabin refurbishment, with the carpet and leather seat and divan covers replaced.
