Aero-Dienst celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Vienna maintenance line station on 5 March 2026, with an event for customers, partners and employees.
The station was established in 2006 as a line maintenance location for Learjet operators and has since expanded to cover the full Bombardier product range – from the Learjet 45/60 to the Challenger 300/600 and Global 7500 – as well as the Dassault Falcon 2000EX Easy, Falcon 900EX Easy and Falcon 6X. The station has held Dassault authorised service centre status since 2017. Line services for the Embraer Phenom 300 were added in mid-2024.
The station’s team has grown to 11 employees, including six licensed technicians with multiple type ratings, each with more than 20 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
The hangar was expanded to approximately 1,500m² (16,000ft²) two years ago. The station currently handles up to 500 service and maintenance events per year.

Vienna station manager Christian Weigl noted: “Many regular customers make a point of using their scheduled stops in Vienna for maintenance work. The appeal of Vienna Airport as a major business aviation hub, along with our central location, which offers easy access to many neighbouring airports such as Graz, Salzburg, Prague, Budapest and Zagreb for AOG cases, has played a key role here.”
Aero-Dienst also operates a component shop for wheels and batteries at the site, with replacement parts held in stock.
In addition to Vienna, Aero-Dienst operates stations in Klagenfurt and Graz in Austria, and a maintenance station in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich. It has its headquarters in Nuremberg and a component shop in Landsberg am Lech. Aero-Dienst America was established in Palm Beach, Florida, at the end of 2025.
