Ahead of its expected type certification in early 2018, Gulfstream’s G500 has embarked on a tour of 12 countries. Current and potential customers in cities including Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Milan, Moscow, Beijing and Melbourne can explore the cabin. The tour began in Dallas Love Field and will run until June 2018.

“This is a momentous year for the G500, with the aircraft’s planned certification and entry into service,” said Mark Burns, president at Gulfstream. “It’s an ideal time for customers to explore an aircraft that is already noted for its large, wide cabin, outstanding performance and industry-leading technology. It also gives us an opportunity to thoroughly test and examine the fully outfitted interior as we prepare for the G500’s service entry.”

The G500 has a range of 5,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 (long-range cruise) or 4,400 nautical miles at Mach 0.90 (high-speed cruise). Highlights of the cabin include its 100% fresh air and 14 windows.
