Maiden flight for third and final PC-24 prototype

The third and final PC-24 prototype, the series standard, has completed its maiden flight and will now be fitted with the Zermatt executive interior – one of six themes developed with BMW Group Designworks.

The PO3 prototype will be used for certification flights. Pilatus is confident that certification will be achieved in the fourth quarter of 2017, paving the way for the 84 pre-ordered deliveries to begin.

Highlights of the aircraft include a cargo door that is included as standard, and the capability to take off and land on short runways and unmade strips.

The prototype will be on display at EBACE 2017, to be held in Geneva, Switzlerland, on May 22-24, 2017.
