Jinggong General Aviation, the exclusive distributor of the Eclipse 550 and Eclipse Special Edition (SE) jets in China, has placed an order for 20 Eclipse jets. “It is currently believed that China will need 10,000 light aircraft within the next five to 10 years to accommodate general aviation’s rapid expansion,” said Alan Klapmeier, CEO of One Aviation. “We are delighted that our partner, Jinggong, is taking the lead position in that market.”

One Aviation says the Eclipse 550 twin-engine jet can fly at altitudes up to 41,000ft at a maximum cruise of 430mph, and consumes 59 gallons of fuel per hour.

Jinggong General Aviation’s services include flight training, aircraft sales, business jet operations, aircraft maintenance and airport management.
