Embraer Executive Aircraft in Melbourne, Florida, recently received the first parts for the first Legacy 450 that will be assembled in the USA. The fuselage from Brazil was shipped to Port Tampa Bay and was then transported across the Florida peninsula to Embraer’s facilities on the Space Coast. The wings and empennage arrived from Portugal through Fort Lauderdale and are now positioned to be assembled as well.

Construction of the new Legacy 450/500 production plant, which is an addition to the Phenom 100/300 facility, is scheduled to be completed in spring 2016. The first Legacy 450 fully assembled in Melbourne is scheduled for delivery later in 2016.
