Duncan Aviation has announced that it has invested in a new, dedicated 14-member Airframe team at its Michigan facility that focuses exclusively on Embraer aircraft.
The company says that over the past 18 months, this specialised team – led by Team Leader Jacob Mills – has poured its expertise into scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, structural repairs, and Service Bulletins for the entire Embraer lineup: Phenom 100 and 300, Legacy 450/500/600/650, and Praetor 500 and 600. Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln and Provo facilities also have dedicated Embraer teams.
“This dedicated approach allows us to deliver more responsive, consistent and tailored service to our Embraer customers,” says Mills. “We’re building strong, seamless processes that anticipate customer needs and deepen our relationships with them. It’s all about providing strategic, proactive support.”
In addition to airframe expertise, Duncan Aviation offers comprehensive services for Embraer owners and operators, including:
- Aircraft sales and acquisitions: Pre-buy services from market research and contract negotiations to inspections.
- Airframe maintenance: Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, composite and structural repairs, fuel leak resolution, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- Avionics upgrades: Advanced cockpit systems, in-flight connectivity solutions, and cutting-edge entertainment, sound and lighting systems.
- Paint and interior: In-house designers craft distinctive interiors and paint schemes that reflect business and personal tastes. Our paint crews are renowned for durable, high-quality finishes—and can complete large-cabin Embraer aircraft in as few as 21 days.
- Engine and APU: Authorised by Embraer, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, and Rolls Royce, Duncan Aviation’s engine technicians provide round-the-clock support, whether on-site or in the field.
- Warranty: Embraer new aircraft warranty.
Most Embraer team members hold A&P licenses, have received factory training, and several are IA-qualified inspectors. Duncan Aviation Technical Representatives are also on hand for troubleshooting and maintenance guidance.
As part of the Embraer Authorized Service Center (EASC) network, Duncan Aviation’s facilities in Battle Creek, Michigan; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Provo, Utah, are all approved for line and base maintenance on Embraer aircraft. The company says that its new dedicated team in Battle Creek underscores its ongoing commitment to industry growth, quality, and innovation.
