Bell Helicopter boosts global service network

Bell Helicopter has announced new additions to its customer service network. Services offered in its Customer Service Facilities (CSF) range from customization, refurbishment and accessory options to MRO solutions, combined with personalized service offerings.

Eagle Copters Australasia of Coffs Harbour, Australia, will be appointed as an authorized CSF. “Eagle Copters is a long-time Bell aircraft solutions provider and Bell-authorized CSF in Canada and Chile,” said Sameer Rehman, Bell Helicopter’s vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region.

Meanwhile, Heliwork Services in the UK, already a CSF, has added Bell 429 maintenance to its list of authorized services. “We already provide nose-to-tail services for the Bell 206 and 407, and have extensive MRO capabilities for the Bell 212, 412, 222, 230 and 430,” said Marc Anton Corominas, managing director at Heliwork Services.

Bell Helicopter also announced plans to its network of CSFs in China. There are currently two CSFs in the region – Shanghai Kingwing General Aviation Company in Shanghai, and Chongqing General Aviation Company in Chongqing. “We have plans to greatly strengthen our CSF network in 2016, as we are currently evaluating three additional CSFs located throughout China,” said Chris Jaran, Bell Helicopter’s managing director for China. The company has an installed fleet of nearly 100 commercial aircraft in the country, and more than 100 letters of intent for the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

In other news, Bell Helicopter announced Able Aerospace Services of Mesa, Arizona, USA, as a new service center. Recently acquired by Textron Aviation, Able provides component repairs, component exchanges and replacement parts among other support and service offerings for commercial rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft.
