As the business aviation industry prepares once again to descend on Las Vegas for NBAA-BACE (to be held on 20-22 October 2026), key interiors-related exhibitors share what they have in store.
Light jet unveiling
A full-scale mockup of the nine-seat SyberJet SJ36 light jet will make its world debut on 19 October at the Aircraft Connection static display at Henderson Executive Airport.
The aircraft targets transcontinental range (up to 3,000nm non-stop) with sea-level cabin pressure at up to 41,000ft altitude and a top speed of up to Mach 0.88, which would be a light jet category record. The SJ36 is designed to bring midsize capability within reach, without the complexity or operating cost typically associated with stepping up in class – offering coast-to-coast travel at 50-70% less than a midsize jet charter.
The aircraft will be powered by SyberVision, SyberJet’s proprietary avionics and flight management ecosystem, and have a full glass cockpit with flight plans uploaded directly from a mobile device or iPad, and over-the-air software updates for remote updates and serviceability. It will also have a zero-emission APU designed to enable near silent ground operations and remote connectivity.

Aircraft Connection
The Aircraft Connection (static display) at Henderson Executive Airport will be open from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Tuesday, 20 October, and from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Wednesday, 21 October. Complimentary shuttle busses are available every 30 minutes between the convention centre and the static display. Blade helicopters will also be available to book for travel between the two sites.
OEMs with a presence on the Aircraft Connection will include Boeing Business Jets, Bombardier, Daher Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Gulfstream, Honda Aircraft Company, Piaggio Aerospace, Pilatus Aircraft, Piper Aircraft, SyberJet Aircraft, Textron Aviation and more.
Cabinetry finish
Capital Aviation will present AeroMatrix, a proprietary molecular cabinetry finish engineered to replace conventional polyester and polyurethane finishes.
“Aircraft parked in hot climates can experience cabin temperatures exceeding 160°F,” says Scot Webber, president at Capital Aviation. “Conventional finishes may ‘milk’, wrinkle or crack as heat drives moisture movement within wood veneer. AeroMatrix is engineered to lock the veneer and moisture in place while providing dramatically greater surface strength and durability. The cured finish is UV resistant to resist sun fading.”
AeroMatrix is available in high-gloss or matte with a three-year warranty. It can be applied to virtually any configuration, including compound curves and vertical or horizontal surfaces, and passes FAA burn requirements. Capital Aviation can manufacture new, re-veneer or transform existing cabinetry.
The company provides complete refurbishment services, including paint, insulation and upholstery. Its avionics dealership capabilities include Garmin installations for Citation and King Air aircraft, Gogo L3, L5 and Galileo voice and internet systems, and CMS solutions.

Leather design partner

Leather specialist Aeristo will emphasise its intention to work alongside designers, helping transform ideas into something tangible.
Its AeristoCraft design and craftsmanship teams work together to explore new techniques, surfaces and expressions for leather, including embossing, quilting, printing, stitching and colour development. Unique designs and processes created through AeristoCraft collaborations have been rewarded at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards for five consecutive years.
“Every material we develop is thoughtfully considered and intentionally crafted,” says Salvador Ortiz, design director at Aeristo. “Every decision has a purpose: to create something that not only meets expectations but leaves a lasting impression.”
New stowage slide
Jonathan Group Aerospace will unveil the SLE129T, its next-generation stowage slide. Developed as an evolution of the company’s flagship 129 platform, the SLE129T was engineered to reduce weight and noise while consolidating functionality.
The SLE129T integrates three mechanisms into a single profile: a push-push lock-closed feature, a spring-loaded kickout that clears the front of the sideboard or credenza, and quiet telescopic motion for elevated stowage access. Jonathan Group says that combining these functions into one part eliminates the need for additional latches and redundant part numbers, simplifying installation and reducing complexity in stowage assemblies.
Available in standard slide lengths from 10-24in, the SLE129T offers a slide load rating of 80 lbs per pair and a 70 lb latch load rating, with a 0.60in spring-out presentation to maintain drawer alignment. Its structural member is built from high-strength aluminium alloy, with stainless steel, rubber and nylon components throughout, and it’s available in clear or black anodised finishes.
Maintaining the flagship 129T hole pattern, the SLE129T is designed as a drop-in upgrade for existing installations, giving cabin designers and integrators an easy path to the platform’s improvements without needing to rework the existing mounting configurations.

Anniversary art
Celebrating 70 years of operation in 2026, Duncan Aviation will emphasise the people who built the company and the continued investment shaping its future.
The company is inviting the industry to become part of its anniversary celebrations through a community art project. Visitors can create art squares that will come together as a collective image. The artwork will be displayed in Duncan Aviation’s booth and in an online gallery. Visitors who submit a square will also be eligible to win a Garmin D2 Mach 2 Aviator Smartwatch.
This year the company opened a US$25m, 32,500ft² dual-bay paint hangar in Lincoln, Nebraska, designed to support larger aircraft and provide better flexibility for complex paint projects. Its first aircraft, a Citation CJ3+ N1RD, gave the team an opportunity to showcase those capabilities with a bold, 46-colour design, the most intricate paint scheme the company has completed.

Connectivity update
Viasat will return to NBAA-BACE following what the company calls “a transformational year” for JetXP. Now activated on more than 2,100 private jets, the inflight connectivity service continues to evolve with network and terminal enhancements, alongside AI-powered developments.
Two ViaSat-3 satellites are now in service, with the third set to enter service imminently, delivering an additional 1Tbps of network capacity. Dedicated Arctic capacity is to be enabled by HEO satellites. The hardware ecosystem is also expanding, with Honeywell’s JetWave X and Gogo’s Plane Simple Ka-band. Viasat will showcase its multi-orbit strategy, combining GEO, HEO and future LEO capacity via its partnership with Telesat. The firm will also preview its In-flight Quality of Experience (iQe) AI-powered application.
Expanded IFE offering
Gogo will be highlighting its developments in inflight connectivity. Starting in 2027, the company will bring JetVision by DirecTV and FlightPath3D together within Gogo Vision, its IFE platform. JetVision adds live television streamed over the aircraft’s internet connection, delivered to personal devices without additional hardware or wiring. It will soon be available on cabin displays as well. FlightPath3D is an interactive 3D moving map that allows passengers to explore the world below while following the aircraft’s journey. Jet Vision is also available as a standalone application to any aircraft using high-speed connectivity.
The consolidation comes as Gogo 5G is up and running over the continental US and parts of Canada, while Galileo’s addressable fleet continues to grow. The LEO satellite-based system is becoming available on more aircraft, including the Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24.

Leather launch
Two new leather collections for private aviation interiors will be presented by Garrett Leather: Asti and Soft Wovens. Both are crafted in Italy.
A hand-tipped leather available in a timeless neutral palette, Asti has a pebble grain creating dimensionality and tactile appeal. Garrett Leather says it has a supple, full-bodied hand balancing durability with sophistication.
Soft Wovens approaches refinement through pattern, rhythm and texture. Three distinctive designs – Pizzelle, Sprezza and Loza (pictured) – reinterpret the heritage of Italian weaving through a contemporary leather application. The collection is designed to be soft to the touch yet structured in character, with each pattern creating an interplay of light and shadow.

RGBW cabin lighting
Aircraft Lighting International (ALI) will showcase its FAA PMA-certified RGBW cabin lighting system for business aircraft. Designed to enhance the passenger experience, the system gives operators and completion centres the flexibility to create fully customisable cabin environments while delivering the efficiency, reliability, and long service life of modern LED technology.
ALI’s RGBW lighting system allows users to create virtually any ambiance through intuitive controls, with customisable scenes tailored for boarding, dining, relaxation and every phase of flight. The RGBW system has been installed on a multitude of aircraft, from King Airs to BBJs.
In addition to demonstrating the capabilities of its RGBW technology, the ALI team will be available to discuss cabin lighting modernisation projects, engineering support and partnership opportunities with operators, MROs, completion centres and OEMs.
The company says its certified lighting solutions simplify installation while providing long-term performance and reduced maintenance.
