Constant Aviation has renewed its Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) authorization and expanded its airframe capabilities. Initially certified by the DGAC in 2014, Constant was authorized to work on Mexico-registered Embraer 145 and 500 and Beechcraft 400 and 800 series airframes at its facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This most recent renewal expands the list of approved airframes to include multiple series under the Bombardier, Cessna, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft and Piaggio lines.
“We saw an increase in demand over the last few years at our Las Vegas location from Mexico-registered aircraft. Renewing our DGAC and expanding our serviceable aircraft was an integral step to better serve our customers,” said Scott Sweeney, vice president of operations at Constant Aviation.
“Previously, we had the authorization to work four airframe series, three powerplant series and limited accessories. With this renewal, we now have the authorization to work 29 airframe series, nine powerplant series, and all accessories listed on our 145 capabilities list.”
The company’s facilities in Las Vegas, Cleveland (Ohio), and Birmingham (Alabama) collectively hold a number of certificates and permits required by the FAA, and plan to increase this number as necessary.
