Studio F A Porsche has underlined its ambitions to expand into VIP aircraft interior design with the presentation of a design study around an aircraft seat based on Inairvation’s Chair platform. The design was revealed at EBACE 2017, held in Geneva, Switzerland on May 22-24.

Studio F A Porsche created the design in response to a call from Inairvation in February 2017 for designs to promote Chair. “To deliver a holistic experience, we additionally designed the complete aircraft interior to evoke a perception of visual lightness in a compact space,” said Roland Heiler, managing director of Studio F A Porsche.

The concept, for the G550, emphasizes modern materials such as titanium and carbon fiber. The ETSO 9g- and 16g-certified Chair has a modular sub-construction that enables it to be configured for various setups.

“Studio F A Porsche’s ideas are the visualization of what we had in mind with Chair: absolute freedom for interior designers when it comes to appearance, materials, geometry and space utilization,” said Werner Kartner, Inairvation co-CEO.
