Karyn McAlphin will lend her product branding and design development expertise as the new design strategist consultant for thermoplastic specialist Sekisui Polymer Innovations (Sekisui SPI). Specifically, she will work on design direction with David Scott, Sekisui SPI global creative, and on designLab developments with Beth Larson, designLab manager.

“Karyn’s relationship with Sekisui SPI started when she was a customer working for US Airways,” said Ronn Cort, COO and president at Sekisui SPI. “The voice of the customer is the one we must listen to most carefully. So, I am very pleased Karyn has joined us on our journey of continuous improvement.”

McAlphin has more than 18 years of experience in aircraft interior product development, including extensive marketing experience in cabin design and branding. She holds two BA degrees – in fine arts (UCLA) and photographic illustration (Brooks Institute). Her most recent role was as senior manager, marketing, for Voices for CASA Children, which recruits and supports court-appointed special advocates.
