Airlines can now opt for ACJC’s full-height mini suites

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) is now offering first-class full-height mini suites for the commercial aviation sector. The mini suites were designed by its in-house Creative Design Studio and are already installed on an ACJ319.

Each suite features 2.5m² of space, and includes a seat that can convert into a fully flat bed measuring 33 x 79in. The private space is outfitted with several storage areas, including a redesigned overhead stowage bin, a folding table and a 32in HD screen.

ACJC says the design of these unique and complex spaces was challenging in terms of technical constraints – including pressure and temperature regulation, air flow and lighting – and also the need to provide a secure and comfortable area.

The Airbus subsidiary is now working on full-height suite concepts for the A380. “Our contact with airline companies showed us that this kind of product could be adapted to airlines, matching their branding, culture and operations,” said Sylvain Mariat, head of the Creative Design Studio.
