UHD-4K screen technology demonstrated by IDAIR

Noting demand for ultra-high-definition (UHD) display technology and 4K content, IDAIR is showcasing a 65in 4K-UHD modular monitor from Aircraft Cabin Systems (ACS) at NBAA-BACE, held in Las Vegas on October 10-12, 2017. The companies have worked together for many years.

“Over the past year we have seen a growing interest in 4K-UHD technology for both new and retrofit installations,” said Wassef Ayadi, CEO and managing director at IDAIR. “We are very pleased to offer the latest display technology to our customers and look forward to our continued good cooperation with ACS to continue to deliver best-in-class solutions for the VIP market.”

The new 4K-UHD modular monitors from ACS are available with customizable input/output modules, so can work with various IFE systems. They are available in sizes ranging from 27-75in and support upscaling from standard 1080p HD to 4K UHD, as well as variable wide frequency power input. Standard modular input modules include HDMI/SDI (6G)/component – composite; customizable video/control ports are also available.
