Rosen Aviation has announced a 97in 4K OLED IFE display. The STC, scheduled to conclude later this year for a VIP aircraft, includes the development of the display. It measures over 8ft in diagonal length.
“This project for an undisclosed client has been in the works for some time now, and to see it come to fruition is nothing short of an amazing achievement,” said Lee Clark, senior vice president strategy at Rosen Aviation. “We are taking one giant 8ft step towards closing the gap between what’s available at home and what we can put on an aircraft.”
The company noted that the new ultra-large product was still designed with low weight and sleek packaging in mind, despite the larger panel. Following on the back of the 48in and 55in, new 42in, 65in and 77in OLED additions announced earlier in 2022, Rosen now offers a complete OLED line-up for all business, VIP and even commercial aviation aircraft starting at 22in through to the new 97in. Rosen said customers are always able to request other custom solutions.
Rosen will showcase the display at NBAA-BACE 2023.
