UK-based private aviation company Volare Aviation made its debut at AERO Friedrichshafen this year, displaying an Airbus Helicopters EC155B1 helicopter and a Bombardier Global 5000 business jet.
The 32nd edition of AERO Friedrichshafen attracted 860 exhibitors and more than 37,000 visitors from 88 countries across the four-day event.
Volare used the show to announce that the EC155B1 – which features rotating captain’s chairs and fully integrated Starlink wi-fi – was available for sale.
The Bombardier Global 5000 displayed was not for sale – Volare plans to continue operating it within its managed fleet, supporting charter demand. The aircraft has a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles and features a Collins Fusion cockpit.
Volare Aviation offers aircraft sales, interior and exterior refurbishments, aircraft management and charter services. The company has traditionally focused on Bombardier Challenger and Global jets, alongside AgustaWestland 109 and EC155B1 helicopters, but has recently expanded into larger business aircraft. The company said it has multiple BBJ refurbishment projects under way, with further large-cabin aircraft initiatives in the pipeline.
