Gama Aviation will be part of the Embraer authorised service centre network
Gama Aviation, an MRO located in Bournemouth, UK, is joining Embraer Executive Jets’ authorised service centre network.

Gama Aviation will provide line maintenance support for customers of the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 series, as well as base maintenance for Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 aircraft located throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The British company will provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as services like livery design, interiors, pre-purchase inspections, modifications and avionics upgrades.

“We are delighted to have been selected as an authorised service centre by Embraer who set an understandably high bar to become part of their global network,” said Paul Kinch, managing director, Gama Aviation MRO. “We look forward to working with customers to support their Phenom and Legacy aircraft via our base MRO capability at Bournemouth, our line stations at Farnborough and Luton, plus our country-wide Mobile Support Team (MST) service.”

“It is an honour to have Gama Aviation joining our network,” said Frank Stevens, VP of global MRO centres for Embraer Services & Support. “Gama Aviation is a reference in the MRO market and performs several activities with the excellence our customers require. We aim to continue growing and enhancing our capabilities, capacity and footprint to better support our customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.”

Currently, Embraer’s network dedicated to executive jets includes eight Embraer owned services centres, 10 Embraer authorised service centres in Europe and 64 worldwide. Embraer Services & Support has been investing in its owned capacity as well. The business unit recently doubled its MRO dedicated capacity for business jets in the US, with new maintenance lines in Dallas Love Field, TX; Cleveland, OH; and Sanford, FL.
